Hey there!
My name is Mattie Neese, and I serve as Head of School at Hope Academy GSO. As an independent school we are committed to providing a high quality Christ-centered education for every child entrusted to our care, regardless of income or faith background.
At Hope Academy, we believe every child is an important part of God’s story right now, not someday. Each child is created with purpose, and their life matters deeply in His redemptive work. Our calling is to invite children to discover who they are in Christ and to see how their learning, relationships, and growth are woven into God’s greater story.
Every child’s success is the result of a faithful partnership between our school, the child and their family, and the wider community. Because of our commitment to serving children regardless of family income or faith background, our donors and community partners play a vital role in making this mission possible.
When you partner with Hope Academy, you are not just supporting a school. You are standing in the middle of a child’s story. Our donors and community partners carry this mission forward alongside us, and quite simply, we could not do this work without you. Thank you for believing in our students and for being part of what God is doing here.

How Hope Works
Hope Academy operates on an equitable tuition model. At least 80% of our families have a household income that is near or below the federal poverty guidelines. But, with support from our community, 100% of Hope Academy families only pay what they can afford. We have never had a family unable to attend because of their financial situation.
How You Can Partner with Hope
Night of Hope Gala
Every fall, we gather for an evening of food, fellowship and fun to honor God’s faithfulness and celebrate the years to come. The Night of Hope Gala raises the bulk of our annual budget, making this celebration vital to sustaining the work already happening in the lives of students and families.
Spring Luncheon
Our Spring Luncheon is the perfect opportunity to see all the ways we are flourishing at Hope Academy. Guests join us at the school for a special lunch as we share academic updates and plans for future projects. We encourage you to stay for an optional school tour after lunch so you can Hope in action. It’s the perfect time to invite new friends and share the incredible ways God is moving at Hope.
Annual Reports
Our annual report shares stories of how Hope Academy impacts students, families, teachers, and volunteers. Each report is a testimony of the wonderful ways God is working in our community.
